WORKSHOP

The ICANCL group of IAP, in collaboration with UNICEF Assam are now partnering to host a one day workshop to sensitise paediatricians and allied health professionals to appropriately respond to sexual abuse of children at the National Conference of ICANCL group (CANCLCON January 2019, Guwahati, Assam. The goal of the proposed one-day workshop is to encourage paediatricians in the North East Sates of India to understand principles of management of child sexual abuse, join ICANCL membership, attend our conferences, CME, online webinars and training. The interested paediatricians shall be invited for an advanced 2-day workshop to enable them to join the Indian Child Protection Medical Professional Network (ICPMPN) and serve as 'local experts' to provide formal medical evaluations for suspected victims of CSA in their own communities.
