WELCOME TO THE 6TH NATIONAL CONFERENCE

Through National Conference of Indian Child Abuse, Neglect and Child Labour (CANCL CON) to be held on January5-6, 2019, Guwahati, Assam, the ICANCL group aims to raise community awareness and increase the capacity of pediatricians and allied medical professionals to offer high quality services to children in the North East. This meeting shall enable them to work together with professionals from other fields in maximizing the impact of a comprehensive multidisciplinary prevention and response to child maltreatment.

The conference theme "Working Together for Child Protection & Development " is most appropriate to address normal child health and development in the North East States, which so far have been neglected. The ICANCL group pledges to exert every future effort in collectively implementing the principles of protecting UN child rights, protection of children from child maltreatment, and promote child development.
